Department of Business Administration at Philomath University is designed to equip students with all aspects of overseeing and supervising business operations of an organization. Students are adequately equipped to manage both public and private sector business environment. The programme is also designed to enhance employability and entrepreneurship by developing skills and competences such as problem solving, critical thinking, presentation, strategy, mentoring, coaching and self-discipline, all of which are valued by employers worldwide as well as students who can compete favourably with their counterparts in the global stage. The Department is well placed to partner business organisations within and outside the country for exchange of ideas and values that will ensure international business success. We have experienced faculty members that know their onions in the field of starting, running and scaling up businesses. The Department engages in a variety of initiatives, real social and economic benefit to this nation and it exposes the students to the ever changing digital world. The department will provide students with needed tools and strategy for managing business and succeeding therefrom. The Department will partner other business organisations for students to secure placement for internship and work experience. Requirements

O’Level Requirement
Five Credits SSCE in English, Mathematics, Economics, Accounting and any other relevant subjects.

Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination:
English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and Government/Geography

Direct Entry
Two ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Geography and Statistics

All first year students who accept Philomath as their firm choice are guaranteed a place in accommodation on the main campus provided they’re eligible and complete their application by the deadline.

All inclusive rent

Your rent will include utility bills, basic contents insurance, maintenance, communal cleaning and a contribution towards your halls activity fund. Your accommodation fees are paid on a semester basis, so it’s easy to keep track of what needs to be paid and when.

Safe and secure

All halls have CCTV. We also have 24-hour manned security officer for oncampus accommodation and mobile patrols. All student accommodation offered by Philomath has robust fire safety measures in place. All of our halls are signed up to recognised accommodation code of practice, guaranteeing your right to safe, good quality accommodation.
